Vinícius Figueiredo Chaves

Consulting attorney at the firm in the areas of Corporate Law and Bankruptcy and Corporate Restructuring. He is also a Permanent Professor in the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program (Master’s/Doctoral) in Business Administration at Unigranrio/Afya. He is an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro — UFRJ (FND) — in the area of Commercial Law, and an Associate Professor at Fluminense Federal University — UFF/VR — also in the area of Commercial Law. He is a guest professor in the Graduate Program in Business Law Practice at CEPED/UERJ. He serves as an evaluator for the National Higher Education Evaluation System — SINAES (INEP/MEC) — and is a member of the Academic Council of the School of Accounts and Management of the Court of Accounts of the State of Rio de Janeiro — TCE/RJ.

Education

He holds a Postdoctoral degree in Law from the University of São Paulo — USP, a Doctorate in Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro — UERJ, and a Master’s degree in Law from Universidade Estácio de Sá. He also holds postgraduate degrees in Business Law and Tax Law, as well as in Corporate Law and Capital Markets, both from Fundação Getulio Vargas — FGV/RJ — and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Universidade Candido Mendes — UCAM/RJ.
