Sylvia Thevenard

Associate attorney at the firm, she practices in the areas of Tax Law, Tax Procedure, International Tax Advisory, and Immigration Law. She previously worked as an attorney at Camargo, Moreira e Ouricuri Advogados Associados, Nusman Advogados, and Negreiros, Medeiros e Kiralyhegy Advogados. At the beginning of her career, she also served as a legal intern at the Regional Federal Prosecutor’s Office in Rio de Janeiro.

Education

She holds a postgraduate degree in Tax Law from the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law — IBET — as well as a postgraduate degree in Tax Procedure from Universidade Candido Mendes. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro — PUC-Rio — and completed an exchange program at the University of Wisconsin–Madison Law School.
